1. Develop the scientific research system for disease prevention and control and formulate and organize the implementation of science and technology development plans and related policies on disease prevention and control;
2. Organize and carry out continuing education programs for public health professionals and cooperate in providing guidance on public health education within its scope of responsibilities;
3. Conduct international exchange and cooperation, publicity, and health assistance to foreign countries; participate in the development of relevant international standards, norms, and guidelines;
4. Carry out exchanges and cooperation with China's Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, and manage the foreign affairs of the administration office and organizations directly affiliated to NDCPA.
